Artvigil 250 mg contains Armodafinil 250 mg, a wakefulness-promoting agent designed to manage sleep-related disorders. It influences neurotransmitters in the brain, helping to improve alertness and minimize excessive daytime drowsiness.
Indications:
Artvigil 250 mg is prescribed for:

Narcolepsy – A condition characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) – Helps alleviate sleep disturbances associated with OSA.

Shift Work Sleep Disorder (SWSD) – Beneficial for individuals with irregular work schedules who experience sleep disruptions.

Dosage & Administration:

For Narcolepsy & OSA: 250 mg once daily, ideally in the morning.

For Shift Work Sleep Disorder: 250 mg taken approximately one hour before the start of the work shift.

Can be taken with or without food, as per medical advice.

Common side effects may include headache, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia.

MODALERT 100MG TABLET contains Modafinil, which belongs to a group of medicines known as Psychostimulants. It is used for the management of Narcolepsy in adult patients. MODALERT 100MG TABLET is also used for the management of obstructive sleep apnoea (obstruction of the airway during sleep), circadian rhythm sleep disorder and shift work disorder. 

Narcolepsy can be defined as a rare long-term neural condition in which the sleep-regulating mechanism of the brain is altered. Narcolepsy can lead to excessive daytime sleepiness, lack of concentration, sleep attacks (suddenly falling asleep), cataplexy (temporary loss of muscle control leading to weakness and falling), sleep paralysis (it is a temporary inability to move or speak during waking up or falling asleep), excessive dreaming and waking in the middle of the night.

During management with MODALERT 100MG TABLET, your doctor may request a test for your heart called an electrocardiogram (ECG). You may also be monitored for your blood pressure and heart rate while you are taking MODALERT 100MG TABLET.

MODALERT 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients suffering from uncontrolled or moderate to severe high blood pressure and arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat) or who had a heart attack. MODALERT 100MG TABLET, should be used with caution in patients who have had liver diseases, kidney diseases, depression, anxiety, low mood, psychosis, mania, bipolar disorder, are alcoholic and recreational drug abuse.

MODALERT 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. MODALERT 100MG TABLET is also not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age. Specific serious side effects may include depression, aggression or hostility towards other people or suicidal thoughts or other changes in your behaviour.  Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any such side effects.

The most common side effect of taking MODALERT 100MG TABLET are headache, dizziness, sleepiness, insomnia (inability to fall asleep), nervousness, anxiety, stuffy nose, back pain, extreme tiredness, weakness, palpitations, chest pain, dry mouth, redness of the face, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach-ache, indigestion, diarrhoea or constipation, blurred vision, irritability, numbness or tingling sensation in hands or feet, abnormal liver enzymes. Contact your doctor if any of your side effects get worse.

Artivigil 50 Mg tablet contains armodafinil, a wakefulness-promoting agent used to treat excessive daytime sleepiness associated with Nacrolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea and shift work sleep disorder. Additionally, it has cognitive-enhancing properties and can aid in increased focus, alertness, and productivity.

Tablet may be taken with or without food. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.
